Join fellow young dairy enthusiasts from across the country in building leadership skills, increasing dairy knowledge, and making new friends. Whether you’re participating in public speaking contests, showcasing your talents in the showring, engaging in virtual contests, exploring valuable educational resources, or attending National Junior Holstein Convention, there are opportunities for everyone.

    Competitions such as Dairy Bowl, Prepared Public Speaking, Folding Display, and the Virtual Interview Contest help youth broaden their dairy industry know-how in a fun and engaging way.

  • Form Lifelong Friendships

    With over 7,300 active members in 48 states, there are countless chances to network with other youth who share the same interests and passion for the dairy industry and Holstein breed.

  • Build Leadership Skills

    Opportunities to serve on the Junior Advisory Committee or within State Junior Holstein Associations help youth form fundamental leadership attributes they will take with them long into the future.

  • Prepare for the Future

    The Junior Holstein Association offers scholarships to support youth as they pursue their college degrees. Through participation in contests and workshops, members are exposed to various career opportunities.

  • Receive Recognition

    Junior Holstein Association members are recognized for their hard work and growth at events such as National Holstein Convention and within their State Associations.

Becoming a
Member is Easy

Membership dues are a one-time, $30 fee that lasts until the member reaches 21 years of age.
